I've lived in Arizona for 22 years, and still manage to find new and exciting locations all around town. The roosevelt row arts district is my latest find. It's incredible the detail that so many artists have placed onto the murals downtown. I envy artists, and their ability to make their imagination and creativity come to life through art.
I particularly fell in love with the mural above painted by Brian Boner. I couldn't walk away without taking some photos with it. Something about the birds taking flight is captivating. I felt inspired, and motivated by this piece to find personal growth. I loved the quote added to this mural. It reads: “At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done.
We will be judged by "I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in”. I am reminded by these words how much more there is to life than materialistic possessions, careers, or even our education. All things that I am guilty of caring most about. Remember to be kind and encouraging to others, and to love unconditionally.
Have a great week, and thank you so much for stopping by!
